When Edward and Alphonse finally reached Xenotime, they looked around for the citizens but they didn´t find any.
In the local bar there were plenty of old men with their wives and kids. The men drank beer, wives drank coffee and kids drank gruel. Edward and Alphonse were standing at the door, with nobody noticed them. Edward got furious and angry, so he yelled right out: “Can someone help us?”
Immediately the owner of the bar went up to the guys and showed them a table to sit at. Took their orders, came back and took a seat.
“So, what are you two doing here in Xenotime?” owner Fredric asked. Edward told Fred the whole story behind their journey.
Fredric just laughed. “The Elric brother are already here, you silly”. This wasn’t right, Edward asked Fredric to show him the “Elric” brothers. And he did, they were shown down to the basement witch actually was a laboratory. Laboratory for alchemists.
It was dark down there, lights from different experiment was the only light source.
“Hello, somebody down here?” Edward asked. Alphonse was as scared as always. They saw someone further into the lab, two creatures in white coats with hood.
“Who are you?”
No answer...
“Are you two those who pretend to be me and my brother?”
No respond...
Edward got pissed, “Hey, I´m talking to you!”
The mysterious creatures turned and the only thing they saw was how their terrifying eyes lit up in the dark. One of them holds something, packed in some papers.
Edward directed his flashlight at them and at the same moment they were gone. But they left something behind, a formula along with a list of completely meaningless things.
Edward might have stumbled over the key to their problem, the formula with ingredients to create the Philosopher´s Stone.
I found this part really exiting. Who is the other pair of Elrics? Where do they come from? Why do they have the formula to create the stone?
I can’t tell about the continue but when I first read it, I was in shock. It became a cliff-hanger when the author returned back in time when Edward and Alphonse were little kids.
It was a smart thing to do because you kept continue read and read until you finally reached the part there you could read about the continue. I really like the story so far...
